Hello, I’m Laura, a professional and accredited Celebrant based in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. I have a passion for creating meaningful, bespoke ceremonies that celebrate life’s most important moments.
When I’m not officiating ceremonies, you’ll find me enjoying musical theatre, keeping fit, cooking, or taking long walks on the beach with my dogs.
As a qualified Civil Celebrant, I hold an NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK. I trained with the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC) - a globally recognised organisation and I am fully insured and supported, ensuring professionalism and peace of mind for every ceremony I conduct.
I consider it a true privilege to support individuals and families during key milestones in their lives. Whether it's crafting a heartfelt wedding ceremony or guiding a family through a meaningful farewell for a loved one, I take great pride in creating personalised and memorable experiences.
I enjoy designing ceremonies that are unique, heartfelt, and reflective of your story. My warm, engaging, and natural delivery style helps set the perfect tone for any occasion.
I conduct ceremonies across the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Dorset, and Surrey. However, if you have a special location in mind outside these areas, I’d be happy to discuss your plans.
Before becoming a celebrant, I had a successful career in Facilities & Change Management, which took me around the world—including Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. I’ve also worked in Travel & Tourism, IT, and the Aerospace & Defence industry, giving me a wealth of experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds.
I would welcome the opportunity to create a truly unique and personal ceremony for you.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Laura
During an initial consultation over the telephone, we can discuss your requirements and any ideas you may already have in mind to include within your ceremony. We can discuss dates and any further details you have already planned, including selection of venue and much more.
Following the initial consultation and if we agree to work together, we can arrange a face-to-face meeting at a suitable time in order to discuss the more intricate details for your ceremony. I will also have an indication of your thoughts by this point and will be more than happy to make suggestions that will enable your day to be as unique and special as you are.
There are many things to consider when planning to say goodbye to a loved one and the process of organising a funeral can at first seem very challenging and overwhelming.
Congratulations to you both at this exciting time as you prepare to embark on your new chapter together.
Choosing a celebrant led ceremony is both unique and personal and allows you to have a bespoke ceremony specially written for you. The ceremony will be a reflection of the love and life you both share and will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your relationship in the presence of your family and friends.
A naming ceremony is a beautiful way to celebrate the birth of a baby and can also provide an older child with a sense of belonging following an adoption or even the blending of two families as a result of a marriage or relationship.
If you have any questions, or you wish to discuss your event or ceremony, please contact me.
