There are many things to consider when planning to say goodbye to a loved one and the process of organising a funeral can at first seem very challenging and overwhelming.
I can relate to the emotions you may be feeling at this time, I designed, wrote and spoke at my own family members funeral's and I understand how important it is to celebrate and honour a loved one’s life in a reflective, uplifting and inspiring way.
At a celebrant-led funeral service, it is the life and the personality of the person who has passed that is at the very heart of the service.
I will meet with you to discuss your loved one in detail including any arrangements they left for their own funeral. I will create a bespoke service which captures the essence of their soul and allows friends and family to celebrate and remember their life.
I can thoughtfully suggest ideas that may symbolise your loved one and can be incorporated into the ceremony. Such ideas could include the use of reflective music, poetry, readings or personal family tributes. I will communicate with those wishing to read personal tributes and assist their delivery on the day if required.
Please be assured, my role is to guide and fully support you during the planning and preparation for the funeral service and to liase with your Funeral Director to ensure the ceremony is conducted in a professional and respectful way.
Please feel free to get in touch so I may answer any questions you have.
The fee for a personalised funeral ceremony is from £230.
The scattering ceremony takes place following a cremation and in the presence of family and friends, involves scattering your loved ones ashes in a final resting place.
The ceremony can take place in a number of locations and is often seen as a symbolic release of your loved one to become one with nature. Please be aware that sometimes, you may need to seek permission to scatter your loved ones ashes depending upon the location you choose.
Alternatively, an ashes interment ceremony is where your loved ones ashes are laid to rest in a permanent place of your choice. Where the interment takes place will depend upon you and your loved ones beliefs and preferences.
The fee for a personalised scatting of ashes or interment ceremony is from £60.
A memorial service usually takes place following a funeral ceremony and provides an opportunity for extended family and friends of the loved one who has passed to gather together, share their collective stories and memories - a true celebration of life. The memorial service can be held anywhere – a special venue, an outdoor setting or even in your own home.
I would be privileged to help create and deliver a unique and personalised memorial service for your loved one.
Fees available on request.
